Aaaah. Done with the first half of a 48 hour shift. So, let's see what we have learned....6 calls after midnight still isn't much fun; alcohol, vehicles, and icy roads may be a bad combination; if someone who hates you knocks on the door at 0500, don't answer the door. They may end up hurting their hand by repeatedly punching you in the face. And finally, if you are going to kiss a girl on New Years Eve, make sure she is not crazy or mad at you or she may bite a big chunk off your lip.

Everybody have a great year. Let's have some more posting over here on the fire/EMS forum.

Heh I know how you felt. I worked a 16 hour shift in the ED on NY Eve. Full moon + Dec 31st = lots of drunks and crazies

The scheduling gods allowed me to miss out on the usual New Year stuff this time around. But we did have a plane crash this morning!

Happy and safe year to y'all!
