Greetings all,
Let me first say its a pleasure to be here. I have been lurking here for some time reading your posts and I must say, there are quite a few knowledgeable members here and I look forward to serving all of you soon.
My name is Robert Bailey and I am building a new gun store website. I will not be specializing in any specific type of firearms. I will frequent this site and others that I intend to be a sponsor; although, this is probably the largest.
I need testers in about 2-3 weeks to navigate the site, register, add items to cart, and give me feedback. How is the pricing, shipping costs, page load times, any error messages, what OS and browser you are using, would you add anything, or feel that the site lacks anything to make it more user friendly; things like that.
You do not need to spend a whole lot of time on the site, just as much as you would if you were actually making a purchase.
You will be able to checkout but no charges will be made (only money orders and checks will be enabled). All orders and accounts will be deleted before the site goes public.
You do not have to use your personal information; you can make up stuff if you wish. My test account used a real address of a local business near me. The address does have to be real, but it does not have to be your address.
I have been in contact with Eric from GT already and GT members will have their own code for discounts. Eric is aware of what i am doing. I will be a sponsor on here by then and will be able to give you all more detail at that time.
I need people with new and old computers, Droids and iPhones, Blackberries, and any type of internet connection. I want to make sure the site is functioning as designed on as may platforms as possible.
I ask that you not give the link that I will PM you to anyone else. If you intend to test on multiple platforms; that is fine too.
