I've only had my Treo 600 for about six months, and now they are getting ready to release a new (rumored) 650 that includes Bluetooth, a faster processor, more memory, a 1MP camera, a higher resolution screen, removable battery, and who knows what else...

Any knowledge you can pass-on about the 600 had mine about a week.

Check the forums at PDABuzz for more info on the 650 - Not much info but a good place to start

Anything specific you'd like to know? If you are new to smartphones I very much recommend that you follow the manual's instructions and read it cover to cover, one week at a time (or faster if you comprehend tech easily). I highly recommend www.treocentral.com for anything you can't resolve or don't understand. I consider that site to be the GT of the Treo world. I also like howardforums.com a lot.

Things I have and use and like on my Treo:
    AvantGo
Bejeweled (one of the greatest time wasters ever invented)
    Filez
    Lightwav
    MobileDB
MovieRec (take video using your camera lens - works great)
    pTunes
    SoundRec (same author as MovieRec)
SplashID - absolutely required to protect your sensitive info

    Those are the crucial, must-haves.

Depends upon what the upgrade price will be for the 650. I also use T-Mobile and they were one of the last wireless companies to adopt it, so I don't know how quickly it will be available.

But don't worry, I'll make you a great deal. ;P ;) (said the spider to the fly) ;f

Lame compared to what? The OS5 is pretty darn stable and does what I need it to do. What issues did you have with it?

That is what I'm looking for. I was using a Ipaq so it's all new to me. I can pole my pop3 accounts so I'm happy. Want to use it more. I miss the documents (like Pocket PC)sync but I am looking at a software solution for that.

You figured out how to check gmail accounts Yet :)

    Thanx again

Hmmmm.... no, hadn't even thought about it. Guess I'll need to take a gander at that.
