    Hello all!

I just bought a G23, and I also purchased a video instruction on how to assemble/disassemble them, and maintenance to be performed.

What amazed me was how easy it was to do, and put back together with no problem! Also, once taken apart it was very apparent how the safety designed parts worked, and how well done it was.

Although, the person on the video recommended chamfering the exit port, and "smoothing" some other pieces...I think I will leave that one alone, though! :)

For excellent, FREE, illustrated instructions for working on Glocks, check out glockmeister.com and topglock.com! And I wouldn't do any chamfering, either. Any grinding that you do on a Glock slide will destroy the tenifer and subject that part of the slide to rusting.

Congrats, you are braver than most new Glock owners. I had mine 1 day before it was in pieces. I was amazed at the simplicity of the design.

I hope you are as satisified with you G23 as I am with mine.

I have just had my G-19 for about 3 weeks now. i had it about a week also before I had it apart. Detail stripped. I went by the 7 min. video thad someone had mentioned on this site. Forget the name of the guy that made it though. Anyway, it was very easy to take apart and reassemble after just watching the video a couple of times.
