Just picked this up this weekend at my FFL. Already have a Sig Extreme 229 in 9mm, with the night sights and SRT. Couldn't pass this one up when I saw it. Plus it's got a CT grip that'll fit both guns. :)

Nice! Appears to be older, around 2009 model?

Congrats! I prefer that older style over the new ones by a lot. There is a noticeable difference in the quality of the controls and the general feel with the older P229s.

Very nice, Joe. I especially like the fact that it doesn't have a rail.

I actually like the look of a rail on a SIG. But, to be fair, I have a 228 without a rail and a 226 and 320 with rails. I'm an equal-opportunity SIG-lover.

Very nice, I let my 229 go in a trade four years ago. I miss that pistol a bunch.

Congrats! I have the P229R in the .357 but I bought a factory barrel and love it.
