I just picked up my first Glock, a 23, I know they are reliable but if something was going to break what would it be on a Glock? I like to have the most likely to break parts for all my firearms on hand.

Recoil springs, Trigger springs, All 3 pins, Firing pin, Slide realeas & Spring, Extractor & Plunger, A trigger housing with ejector is a good idea too. You may never need these parts but they are good to have on hand.

Thank you very much, one last question. Do you recommend any certain company/person to get these parts from?

Man you like to have a lot of spare parts on hand. All the spares I have are just from chaging stuff out on mine. I havent had anything on mine fail yet.

Trigger rebound spring. That's about the only thing on a Glock that WILL break. All other things may break....or last for the life of the gun.

Save your money and just get more ammo. The only thing ever needing replaced for me was recoil springs.

For a SHTF gun, you should have spares of all parts. It's cheaper than mailing the gun back to Glock and faster than waiting to order parts.
