Ask any 10 people about night sights.....and you'll get 9. different answers (ALL of them RIGHT, of course....even if it's just in their own minds...!!)
MY PERSONAL TAKE:
IF you do...or INTEND to do.....ANY low-light shooting -- plinking at the local sandlot/outdoor range, training for CQB/room clearing*--IMHO, night sights ARE a worthwhile investment. As to the type (color/style/shape)....that's pretty much a personal decision -- if it WORKS FOR YOU.....IT'S RIGHT FOR YOU!
OTOH....IF your shooting is going to be confined to daylight-only and/or well-lit indoor range.....I'd stick with the "stock" sights....and use that extra $50-$80 for AMMO!!!

(* - This also includes use of the weapon for personal defense - ie., home/nightstand gun)
