The tires I got for my cb750 in January lasted about 6k miles. Actually, only the center of the rear was worn out, but the front was already dry-rotting so I replaced the factory specified Dunlop k505's with a set of Bridgestone BT45's. The tires came recommended by several owners of my bike.

I put them on the bike over a few beers yesterday, so waited until today to road test and scuff in. I am pleasantly surprised that the bikes turn-in and overall steering responsiveness has improved.

I guess as the rear gradually wore a flat area in the center, the bike got more sluggish on initial turn-in. Now the steering is more precise and linear. I won't wait as long before replacing next time.
