Well, now that I have your attention...
An idea for Mr. Glock to introduce the Glock 40!
I'm a big 10mm Auto fan -- and I really enjoy my G21SF as a hunting sidearm and my G29SF as a CCW. However, I was playing around with some 10mm Auto snap caps and my G36 (one of my regular CCWs) to observe the capacity of the 10mm Auto cartridge in the G36 magazine. The standard G36 magazine will hold 7 rounds of 10mm Auto. The "lightbulb came on" -- if Mr. Glock would produce a modified G36 magazine with more narrow feed lips -- and a 10mm Auto barrel for the G36 platform, he would have the next production Glock -- the G40 Slimline ready for the marketplace with almost no R&D costs.
True 10mm Auto fans like myself would jump all over each other to be able to buy a slimline 7+1 capacity CCW chambered in our beloved 10mm Auto cartridge! I believe that Mr. Glock would sell as many -- if not more Glock 40s (chambered in ".40 magnum or 10mm Auto") than he currently does in G29 and G29SFs combined. If Mr. Glock would build it -- people will buy it!
The Model of G40 is even appropriate, being that it fires a .40 inch diameter projectile!
Thoughts?
