    Very nice!

Waiting for custom leather is a bummer. My last Alessi holster took about 16 months. I had actually sold the gun by the time the holster was done. Luckily, the guy that bought the gun was jumped at the chance to get the holster.

Excellent choice for your first Sig! I love the P229. It's the only Sig that I I like with a rail. Enjoy it!! BTW, the Milt Sparks is worth the wait!

Not yet. Picked up a box of Federal FMJ, but need to lube it up. Any recommendations on grease for the rails?

I've never been too fussy with the grease, I figure any decent brand works just as well as the others.

TW25 is what Sig recommends and what I use exclusively. Works great, but typically it's a little hard to find and expensive. I get mine from Top Gun Supply.

    Depends on where I am.
That's all I use on the slide rails, locking block, and barrel lug.

Cool. TGS is about 30 min from me and has both the SlideGlide and TW25. I may check it out tomorrow as his retail shop is open for a few hours. Thanks for the help.

Out of all the Sig's I have owned it is the only I miss. Smoothest shooting .40 IMO and a great first Sig. The only knock I had was the finish could of been a lot better.
