New sights on the G43

I decided on Ameriglo's tritium Pro Glo front with the all black classic rear.

I actually prefer the tight sight picture of the stock sights for accuracy, so I went with .140 width for both front and rear. This particular setup allows just a touch more light on the sides of the front sight compared to stock.
Hopefully I'll get to check 'em out at the range this Sunday.

No need tritium on the rear sights? Range use only? Just curious.

I never felt the need to have tritium on the rear sights. With one or two tritium dots on the rear, it just looks way to "busy" to me. In a quick defensive situation, I'll most likely be point shooting, or using the front sight as more of a "red dot" type of sight as opposed to spending time trying to line up a bunch of dots.
This setup allows for accurate, and fast shooting for me when needed, whether it's day or night.
It's what I choose for range use, IDPA, and defense.

I had the hack front sights and black rear sights put on my 43..I like the combination and don't miss the rear sights.

From the photos it looks like a good quick sight picture.
