Found a very slightly used Sig P226 "navy" edition and had to pick it up. After buying a SigPro 2022 last year I really started digging Sig's. Since then I have been looking for a deal on a 226. The "Navy" edition supposedly has phosphate anodized internal parts for corrosion resistance and comes with 3 mags. It also has a cute little anchor engraved on the slide.
She has a production date of 07' and looks like she has had less than 100 rounds through her. Still had packing grease in it and one of the mags was still in the silicone bag. I would have taken her out today but the wind is howling and the rain is coming down sideways. Will try to make it to the range tomorrow and give you all an update.:wavey:
    Enjoy:

I like your Sig, I'm looking at getting the 226 next. I just bought a Glock 22 Gen 4. I love it. I've run 300 rounds through it flawlessly. Have you tried out your Sig yet?

    Depends on where I am.
    Congrats!

If the mags are coated in thick, brownish, yellow, grease, hose 'em down with Gun Scrubber. Run 'em dry inside and out. Make sure the slide rails are greased too.

Range report is due when the weather clears up. :)

Ya, they were coated in grease. I hosed em' out with hoppe's and used a brush then dried them. Greased the rails with Tetra grease. It's all ready to go. Tomorrow's weather looks better so will get you the range report.
