Well last week I moved into my new house. A couple of days later I got a chance to bring my bike home. I was excited to have her home, and proudly pulled her into her new garage. All is right with the world. After stepping off my beauty, I thought I heard my water heater making a strange sound. So I pulled off my helmet and the sound grew louder, and my heart sank. I knew it was not the water heater making that sound. It was this. :gaah: Well I knew I needed a new front tire, but the rear only had about 3k on it, and still had plenty of tread. The front had plenty of cupping as you can see here. Well how to get my front tire in the air? I left my lift at the other house and I would not be back there for a few days, but I did have my trusty pitbull and a couple of straps. So over the rafters with the straps and the wheels were off in no time. Then it was off to Cycle Gear for some new pilot road two's Here they are in all their glory. I got them mounted to the bike right before dark, and went out for a short ride. I don't have them scrubbed in all the way, but so far they are great. I forgot how nice it is to ride on round tires again. Now if I can quit riding and find time to put the insulation and drywall in the shop, I will be all set.
