I was not happy with my old bench, so I disassembled it and built a new one. Its 8' x 16.5". I reinforced the area where the presses are mounted with steel plates on the top and angle iron under the lip of the bench. It is very sturdy now. Plenty of room for gun cleaning/maintenance between the presses. I'm happy with it now. Anyhow, just wanted to show it off...

I am not sure how you are going to get away with such a small bench. But it looks good.

Thanks. I wish that I could make it longer, but 8' is all the space I have. Oddly, the depth is perfect for my needs and the space. The old bench was 2' deep, and I ended up just piling everything in the back. Now I have a 5" shelf above the bench for much of the stuff that previously made the area a mess.

I think Red was being a little sarcastic there, but if not, I think it is great. Do you have the top back brace anchored to the wall as well? I am not saying it needs it, just wondering.

Looks good, somewhat similar to mine, but yours is about twice as wide. I don't exactly have much room but it works extremely well.

I do. The bench itself is anchored to the wall.

    NOPE!

A reloading bench can never be too big or too sturdy.

We haven't had a post your reloading bench press thread in a year. It might be time for a new one. Of course it would take me several hours of cleaning before I would take a new picture.

Very nice setup. Is there a place for guys to post photos of their setups? Might me good for guys thinking of starting or upgrading a reloading area.

Sure just start a new thread and ask for people to post pictures of their reloading benches.
