Hey all, I just got a new system for Christmas and I am going to begin the swap later tonight. Before I do I want to find out how I can transfer the emails and the folders they are in to the new system. I remember that it can be done, but I forget the procedure. It involved copying a few files from the OE folder to the new folder that contained the OE files and then OE would rebuild the folders and emails that were contained within them. If anyone knows I would appreciate it. Thanks Nala
just open up outlook click file, export, then messages it then will create a file, put the file on disk and do the same on new computer exept you will use import on the new computer. good luck
DO NOT USE OUTLOOK EXPRESS FOR YOUR EMAIL CLIENT. Use Thunderbird. I think there needs to be a BIG BLINKING STICKY on this tech forum that opens up when people visit here or a window pops up when somebody is trying to post with the magic word Outlook Express.
