Any guesses? She's 13 weeks old and very smart. Took us 3 weeks to house train her.
from the coloring, i'd say Shepherd/something thereabouts.
hard to tell with a pic from that distance though...
Looks like lab/shepherd,.... although its sometimes hard to tell w/ pups.
Not even close guys!
i was gonna put lab in there too, but the face is a bit too scrunched, almost pug-like. but its a pup, so you can never tell!
Short tail, short nose...undocked Rottie? I've seen Dobermans without their ears cropped, but never a Rottweiler without a docked tail. Unless they're naturally that short and in that case I'll just shut up.
Looks like a Boxer and Rottwieler mix to me.
Here's a hint, She's a purebred. We bought her on a "companion contract" and she will be registered upon being spayed per our contract with our breeder. Also Rosie is what they call blue and tan which is one of the colors of this breed but you don't see blue and tan's that often. This breed is somewhat rare. Rare enough infact that when I told our vet that we would be bringing our _____ ______in for puppy shots he had never seen one had to look it up in some breed book and read up on her breed characteristics. I was surprised that he didn't know what a ______ ______looked like.
Here's another picture of Rosie Mae.
Is she a Border Terrier, by any chance?
This is killing me! Ok, "blue" automatically makes me think Australian Cattle Dog, but she looks too dark/black for that.
I'll be damned, a blue and tan Kelpie?
I think he is right
A rare blue/tan Australian Kelpie
I thought she was a mountin curr.
What's that? You say you have never heard of that breed?
Why that is simply a curr dog that will mount anything!
Seriously though, good looking puppy!
Our ACD is a mix of a blue and red. She has a black and tan outercoat and a white chest. She has the typical blue mearle undercoat and the cropped tail of the Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog
Sorry for the Hijack, and nice looking pup
Border terriers are neat dogs, but are even more rare than ACD's around here.
In fact, I have only seen a few (in person) in my whole life!
Definitely a good-looking pup you have there, Freedom. Enjoy your time together.
