Thanks for all the input from everyone in my other thread on the 6721. :wavey:

Today I accidentally won a Colt 6940 on gunbroker, so that made the decision for me.

You've got to be ****ing kidding me? Congrats and all, but I'm jealous as hell. I've never won a damned thing, much less a cool rifle - especially when I was shopping for a freaking rifle!!

    Lucky bastard. :tongueout:

Oops...it was won on a bid that I placed, not a freebie. :embarassed:

I say "accidentally" because I low-balled the bid at an amount that I never thought would actually win.

Ah - OK. Well now I'm less jealous. Congrats anyway.

What'd you pay for it? I'll give you $50 for it right now.

Not bad. I want one, but I really kinda have too many ARs (like there is such a thing). How ya gonna set it up?

Right now I'm thinking Trijicon Reflex (RX06-23) and SureFire "ScoutLight" M300A. I know AimPoint and EOtech are more popular here though. I'm open to suggestion.

Probably will add Magpul grip, mags, and trigger guard at some point.

Sweet, the rare pre-ban chainsaw lug!

If chainsaws are outlawed only outlaws will have chainsaws.

Obx, I have the Reflex 06-14 on my new AR, great sight. My EOTech 517 is on the other AR. I kinda like not having to worry about batteries though.

That's a good price, considering it's still $1,400 here for the 6940 and then I got tax ($120 and $35 DROS fee). Even the monolithic upper alone is $1,000 already.

Now you can almost be an operator.

    Good deal! Enjoy.

I may be building a replacement for my LMT M4 or rebarreling at a minimum. I want a featherweight.

Bwahahaha, I have vids of a chainsaw mounted on a Saiga shotgun, they're cutting down a door with it.

OBX, Sounds like a great deal on the Colt. We NEED gun pron!
