I'll give it a watch for at least a couple shows. As long as it doesn't go off the deep end.

I hope they have a good technical advisor cause we'll tear the show apart:supergrin:

Hopefully it does not put Paramedics in a bad light like the show that makes FDNY look like a bunch of drunken sex deviants.

I watched it with high hopes of it being a good show but was sorely dissapointed.

    I know, why be greedy?

EVERY FD is a bunch of drunken sex deviants!

Seriously, so far there has only been one episode, right? I forgot the show was one, guess I'll catch the second one and see how the show goes.

I think the show's producers forgot to hire that technical advisor.

Maybee the advisor is a drunken sexual deviant, thus never showed?

Maybee, and this is a big maybe, I could be their advisor?

This show, just like Bringing out the dead, and Broken Vessels, makes us look like we are second rate losers. Unshaven, shirt untucked, ****ing in the rig, severe personal problems....

The deal with the kid though was a good light on us.. I would have scooped him and left...

Loved the way the guy exploded awake from the Naloxone too....

Plus, the shock was delivered with the old style paddles (I don't know, maybe some places still use these, but we haven't for YEARS!) AND in a moving bus. Again, maybe some places allow you to do it while moving, but we cut that out a LOOONG time ago. Mainly because we use Lifepack 12's and the moving bus (or even engine vibrations) mess with the analysis.

Its just a TV show, Gents!

Rescue me is just a TV show just as Emergency! and this new ambulance driver show are just TV.

Relax and watch 'em or don't, it makes no never mind.

I don't have any desire to watch a show about ambulance drivers so I don't tune in!

Hollyweird NEVER gets it right so I can't be bothered with these type of shows.

    Cheers! :drink:

I kind of thought "Bringing Out The Dead" was the most accurate dipiction of urban EMS ever made.

And even if they didn't hit every detail (and according to my bro who was in the field and in that area at that time they did) it looked VERY cool.

Remember, Bringing out the dead was what, late 80's? Early 90's?

“Bringing Out The Dead” was done in 1999. The move was extremely well made. Scorsese defiantly did his homework.

But the book was written based on late 80's, early 90's me thinks.
