I need some help . I just got a Gen 2 G17 2-pin yesterday. It is great and I love it. I thought the trigger pull felt a little stronger than my Gen 3 G22. So I compared them. The Gen 2 G17 was stronger than the G22 Gen 3. I am very familiar with detail stripping my Glocks and I have detailed stripped this Gen 2 G17 . What do I need to look for to see if it has a stronger trigger pull that the standard 5.5LB ? Is there any markings on the connector ? Any help is appreciated

An 8# connector has a small "+" on the ear.

DO you mean like this ? And is this an "extra strong/pound" connector ?

Is what I posted a stronger trigger pull than normal ? If so then what should I buy to make it "normal" again? I have detailed stripped many Glocks to clean them and all but I have never modified the trigger pull .

That is an 8lb, or "+" connector. Swapping to a normal connector which has no mark in that spot, or even a "-" connector will reduce trigger pull somewhat.

A standard connector is about 2.5# lighter than the 8# connector--very noticeable. Just replace the connector.

Hey thanks guys . Man I thought it was just me at first . WOW it was a heavy trigger . Where is a good place to get a regular connector ? And also will a Gen 2 connector fit the same as a gen 3 connector ? Or is it all they same ?

The connectors are universal fit. PM me your address and I'll send you one.

note that Butch competed and Won a lot with the 8lb connector.
