New Nikon SLR?

The rumor mill is in full gear.

DP Review is saying Nikon is announcing a new 10mp SLR in 20 days.

Well, the info is up at Nikon's site and everywhere else. Pricing looks fine at $999 for the body and $1299 with a new 18-135 AF-S kit lens.

Not my cup of tea (I shoot action with a D1 and am looking at a D2Hs for a replacement), but it looks like a best-in-class camera to me.
