New Nikon 50mm f1.8

    Is she your daughter? You better get ready for the onslaught of teenage boys :supergrin:

    Next time, try to increase the DOF a little with her: it will keep her eyes as sharp as the hair on her shoulders. Still, it is a great shot and I love it as b/w. :)

    its a good lens. I use mine mainly for indoor sports.

    I agree with MK. you need mor DOF in both shots. just because it can shoot at 1.8, dousn't mean you need to. ;) that lens is a little soft at 1.8. I usually shoot mine indoors at 2.2.

    btw, the HN-2 lens hood fits well on it.;)

    also, be careful of that 'vivid' mode. someyimes, it tends to 'overdo it'. its easier, and better, to add saturation and sharpening, than to try to remove it.
