    OK...... So now that you've had your T3 for a bit and speaking of slide stops....... is yours so closely fitted that it takes a bit of effort to line the barrel link up correctly to put the slide stop in?
    I've found a plastic corn on the cobb holder helps :)

    I seem to have a problem on all my 1911s getting the barrel link lined up. I usually am able to line it up with a plastic cleaning tool that is the right diameter. Works pretty good. Anybody have any tips to help accomplish this ?

    The T3 is an excellent pistol. I've only been able to shoot a friends and it was a work of art.

    I've lusted after a stainless one for years and have thought of selling several other 1911s to get that one.

    Haven't done so yet...but your post has me thinking again.

    Congratulations on a fantastic pistol.

    Added some new Esmeralda grips to the T3. Love the new look.

    Almost twins. Here's mine:
    I went with 3 dot sights (because I'm used to them) and their new ambi safety. I hated the VZ grips for carry.
