My best friend and I each bought a Ruger LCP on Monday, added Crimson Trace laser Guards to them, and field tested them this morning. We each shot 120 rounds:

    100 Rounds Winchester USA
    100 Rounds Blazer Brass
    20 Rounds Federal Personal Defense
    20 Rounds Winchester Elite

End result, 240 rounds fired with 100% reliability. The lasers work great. We zeroed them at 10 yards. Trigger pulls are high, but that's life. The LCP's are back-up pistols, not competition shooters. Ron and I are happy with our purchases.:wavey:

I often carry an LCP during the summer in my left front pocket to back up the Glock on my hip. Winter time I trade it out for an LCR. Congrat's on your new BUG Danny.

I may carry my LCP, but I don't leave the bigger gun at home. Danny, I know you like Galco pocket holsters, but take a look at the TUFF pocket holster, I use one for my LCP and LCR.

Right now I'm using the Crimson Trace pocket holster in the left front pocket, but yes, I do like Galco Horsehide.

all you need to do now is get the 13# wolf recoil spring for it. Tames just about every bit of the jump from the LCP and actually makes it a LOT of fun to shoot

Danny, it's a great BUG. I bought mine in 2009 and recently added a Crimson Trace to it. I carry mine more than I though I would and always in my DeSantis pocket holster.

I like the Nemesis pocket holsters and have one for the LCP without laser. I'll probably get one for the laser attached.

Anyone have any issues with your LCP. I bought mine at a gun show and when I got to the range I would get malfunctions non stop. had to send it back to ruger and they changed the slide. Some people told me it was the extractor that wasn't grabbing the back of the spent casing. It works well now. No issues to date.

Is it safe to assume that there is no loss of reliability with the heavier spring? Would this be true with most factory ammunition? Thanks for the advice!

I have owned an LCP for three years. No malfunctions and my only pocket pistol. A great back up weapon and it is loaded with Hornady Critical Defense ammo.

Okay, I'll bite. Why the left front pocket, assuming that the Glock and your better hand are on the right?

Nothing but good words for the LCP; mine has been stone reliable thru' a bunch of ammo (700rds?) without a bobble. I'd like a better trigger, but it is what it is and it works all the time.

Mine fits perfectly for the purpose for which it was intended. Cheers.

Just a wild guess- if his right hand is damaged, he can easily draw with his left. Do I win a prize?!!!
