Took the new Kimber Pro Carry to the range today. Mind you I have been shooting my Glock 23 and this is the first 1911 type gun I have shot or owned. Wow..could not believe how tight I was able to keep my shots. Very easy to control as well. Was worried going from a .40 to a .45 that it would be even worse but no way...trigger very smooth...ended up shooting around 50 rounds and very very happy with my purchase...now I can't wait to get my new Anaconda grips from Sarge..

Nice! Welcome to the world of the 1911. Your groups will be tighter. The air will be cleaner. Food will taste better....

Only bad part is your bank account will also be smaller. :tongueout:

My Kimber 4" is my favorite/best shooter. Hard to beat the 1911 in this area IMO.

Yea..I am going to have to pick out a holster...I currently carry a glock with the blackhawk holster...so a soft holster (leather) will be something different and no idea where to start looking..

The Kimber Pro Carry was the first 1911 I ever owned. They are very nice firearms. You have a very nice weapon there.

Com tac miniatur is a great holster for the price and is adjustable and can have it in 10 days not long build time, and under 100 dollars good value but it is not all leather.
