Yes, right up there with the pig nose "issue" that never seemed to just quietly go away.

It's a $500 handgun, not a NIB Colt Python..............

I just don't see the issue, UNLESS it affects reliability (it hasn't).

too bad you did not gets glocks before mim and less durable metals .... the new gen 5 should be a great gun for a very long time.

My "first" 17 was around 1987-88.....plenty durable then as they are now....
