I've been a gun nut for many years starting with a BB gun in 1959 when I was 10 years old and started reloading for a 10 gauge double hammer gun in 1968 using a Lee Loader. I got Drafted in 1969 where I became acquainted with the M-16 which I never really liked very much especially compared to the M14. My first handgun was a 44 special charter arms Bulldog and for many years I thought that all semi-autos were "Jam-o-matics" except for the 1911.

When the Glock appeared on the market a friend of mine got a G17 and I shot it but was not impressed because I didn't like the grip angle and thought the trigger was mushy. Around the same time another friend got an 18 shot HKVP70 and it had a horrible 19 pound trigger, much worse than the Glock. Time passed and then I read about how Ted Nugent's favorite handgun was a Glock 20 in 10mm and I started thinking that I might like to have one of those someday.

Then about 5 years ago I went out plinking with a friend who is a gunsmith and a certified Glock armorer he let me try his Glock 20 that he had done a trigger job on and the next week I saw a G19 at a gun show that I liked much better than the G17 so I got it. And not long after that I went out and bought a brand new G2OC and had my friend the gunsmith do trigger jobs on both guns. And now I'm a die-hard Glock fan boy for life.

I live 15 minutes outside of Spokane in the Four Lakes area. This winter makes me glad I drive a Jeep. If it wasn't for Global Warming, we'd really be in trouble.:(

I'm really liking this forum. I posted a question and received a ton of information. Thanks for all the welcomes and here's a picture of my favorite Glock. It's a Gen 3 SF frame with a 6 inch Lone wolf barrel that was cut to 5 inches and CeraKoted Black and the tops of the finger grooves have been rounded off and the rear of the trigger guard undercut slightly and rounded on the right side because I'm right-handed and allows a higher grip. It's also had a trigger job by a local gunsmith who is an absolute wizard with Glock triggers.

It also has a Lone wolf stainless guide rod. I didn't like the way the gun balanced with the 6 inch barrel but 5 inches feels perfect. and looks better to my eye. I've also put a set of tru-glo sights on it since this picture was taken, Next I'd like to get a Mech-tech carbine conversion for it.
