I've been a gun nut for many years starting with a BB gun in 1959 when I was 10 years old and started reloading for a 10 gauge double hammer gun in 1968 using a Lee Loader. I got Drafted in 1969 where I became acquainted with the M-16 which I never really liked very much especially compared to the M14. My first handgun was a 44 special charter arms Bulldog and for many years I thought that all semi-autos were "Jam-o-matics" except for the 1911. When the Glock appeared on the market a friend of mine got a G17 and I shot it but was not impressed because I didn't like the grip angle and thought the trigger was mushy. Around the same time another friend got an 18 shot HKVP70 and it had a horrible 19 pound trigger, much worse than the Glock. Time passed and then I read about how Ted Nugent's favorite handgun was a Glock 20 in 10mm and I started thinking that I might like to have one of those someday. Then about 5 years ago I went out plinking with a friend who is a gunsmith and a certified Glock armorer he let me try his Glock 20 that he had done a trigger job on and the next week I saw a G19 at a gun show that I liked much better than the G17 so I got it. And not long after that I went out and bought a brand new G2OC and had my friend the gunsmith do trigger jobs on both guns. And now I'm a die-hard Glock fan boy for life.
