Welcome aboard, Geronimo! There is a GSSF match in Jacksonville in January, and one in Orlando in February. The Conyers, GA match is normally the last weekend in September. If the Ft. Benning match is back on the schedule, it will be in late March or early April. You just missed the mud match in Anderson, SC.

I'll do that! Just need to decide on the best caliber for competition. Any suggestions? I haven't been envolved in firearms comp since the army. I've got some good loads worked up for a .45, but I also like the .40 . Thanks!!
Use what ever caliber you feel most comfortable with. There's no power factor so load light for low recoil and accuracy. Of the faster shooters most are using 9MM. Of course things can always change.

Welcome to our newest shooter. I was once the new guy in the block, but dont let being new worry you. You will get some real good advice from the guys here. Ill agree if you go to watch a match take some ammo along, you will want to shoot the match for sure.

The name of the game is accuracy. Not quite as much as Bullseye, but we don't give you any little black circles to aim at.
