Hi all, new member here and brand new G26 owner. Went to the range today to assess it and fired 100 rounds of Win WB 115 gr. through it totally trouble free.
I used distances from 10 to 50 feet and fired two hand, one hand strong side , one hand weak side, point shoot , and rapid fire.
I was very impressed with the feel of the gun and it’s accuracy. I had been somewhat leery of the “two finger “ grip but it was no problem. I think the gun is perfect out of the box with no need for after market gizmos. If I feel the need for more capacity I’ll carry a spare G17 15 round mag in reserve – 10+1+15 should be sufficient for any contingency.
    Two comments:
1 – After 100 rounds the lower part of my trigger finger was feeling the pinch of the safety. I don’t know if there’s a fix for this but if not, it's something I can live with.
2 – the Glock mag loader that came with the gun is totally useless, didn’t work at all, but no matter my Uplula universal loader came to the rescue.
All in all I’m very happy with the purchase and I foresee this as my daily carry for a long time.

Welcome... I'm looking at either the 26 or the 33 myself. I already have the 19 and 31, and would actually like to trade my 31 for one of the subcompacts some day...

Congrats and Welcome to the club!!!

I used a dremel, took the trigger out, held the safety down all the way, and lightly removed bits out of the safety until when I pressed the safety, it was flush with the face of the trigger.

Alot of people don't like em, but 1 option is a clip-draw. I love mine, adds no bulk to the weapon, and I carry SOB so it's invisible and I can almost forget I'm wearing it.

That clip looks like a good idea! Does it bolt onto youre gun? Does your gun stay in place inside your belt ok without a holster?

I like it a lot, it comes with a metal striker spring cover, with 2 holes in it, that you bolt the clip-draw to. I use it for CC carried in SOB. It stays place pretty well for most situations, if I scrunch down on a couch or slide on my butt, it tends to ride up, but that's about it. If I feel the need to jog, or feel it slip, just a hand on the back strap will keep it safe.

Welcome, Ectomorph! Congrats on the G26! They look like a blast to have. I gotta admit, the G22 I have gets a little heavy sometimes. But, I just love that gun. So, its the right one for me. That clip draw looks pretty nifty. Do you carry in Condition 3 for that?

Once again, great to have you--and congrats!

It's recomended, but my belt/waistband makes a pretty good trigger guard, and if I needed it, chances are good the bad guy would have one chambered.

Took my G26 to the range last week after more than a month of shooting everything else...quickly reminded me of what a great gun it is and why it remains my favorite.
