I bought a new G41 on Monday. I don’t have any other 45s' but I got a good deal on this one from my local glock pusher. I will be shooting it later today. Hope all of my 9mm’s don’t get caliber envy. Now to stock up on .45s.

The G41 is a neat design among other Glock 45ACP pistols. It, the G36, and the G30S are the only Glock 45ACP pistols with a thinner lighter slide specifically designed for 45ACP instead of being quick and dirty modified 10mm slides used for other 45ACP models.

FWIW, the G41 is "Competition" length with 5.3-inch barrel. The only "Long Slide" length models with 6.0-inch barrels are the G17L, G24, and G40.

.45 Glocks are a lot of fun and they tend to multiply...

My Gen4 G41 is one of the few Glocks that I own that I actually enjoy shooting, and I'm pretty sure you will too. It's got a soft recoil impulse and is about the same size as a 1911, but with 13+1 ammo capacity.

It's shown below in the foreground with a couple of it's siblings...

Love my Glock 21 and 30S. Plan to round out the collection by adding 41, 36 and a 30 as funds allow. Enjoy

    Can't go wrong with a Glock 45! Got the Gen4 21, the 41, the 9mm.....:p

I keep the 41 as a bedside gun. That thing is accurate and well balanced! I kept pushing out the distance to see just how accurate it was, and was eventually nailing a 14" steel wheel at 100 yds. I ended up selling my Kimber 1911, just because I no longer saw the point. Heavier, held less ammo, and could only put around 100 rds through it, before it needed cleaning. Just wish I would have waited for the MOS version.

I have been wanting one since they came out. Something always comes up when I finally have the extra cash for the 41. Thinking I will trade or sell something to get it..
    Now, what can I sell?

I shot this week at an indoor range. I had a blast! Recoil is not much more than my 19X, but the muzzle rise was more. I know I can overcome that with more practice. I am very happy with my purchase.

    Thanks for all the comments.

Just recently purchased my first Glock in 45 acp. Gen 4 model 30. Love it!!! Shoots great and is concealable. Actually purchased two of them. One made in USA the other Austria. Got rid of a nice 1911 to purchase them. Lighter, easier to conceal than the 1911 plus has a few more rounds. I retire in a few months and am going to treat myself to a new 41 mos. Use it as House gun and possibly hunting. Can’t wait to get it.

Bought my G41 Gen 4 few weeks ago. Upgraded sights with Tru Glo fiber optics. Just an accurate fun gun to shoot at the range.

Glock has shown with the G36, the G30S, and the G41 that a wide, heavy slide and barrel are not necessary for the relatively low pressure of the 45 ACP cartridge. Even with +P 45 ACP's the pressure is ~10,000 psi less than the 40 S&W's 35,000 psi.

Glock needs to finish the concept and put a slim slide and barrel on the G21 and creat a G21S. I'd buy the first one I saw.
