can glock 22 or 23 (.40 cal) barrels be used in glock 27? Also what is the benefit of an"ported" barrel? thanks.

Ive used a 22 barrel in a 23. Put one in it and see how it locks up.

Potred barrels give some recoil reduction.

Do not use a G22 barrel in a G23 or G27, as the locking lug dimension is different!

You may use a G23 barrel in a G27. It will increase velocity but not improve accuracy.

Porting usually decreases muzzle flip, reduces velocity and increases noise.
