The all day shooting a few divisions will not happen here if we get enough RO's.
Well, there is that. I considered Homestead fairly short on ROs. But the signup and assignments for ROs was very loose. Patty and Cindy said that many ranges aren't doing that hardcore RO assignment routine any more because people don't show up for the RO duty that they had agreed to. But I believe when the system doesn't require some kind of commitment, you get none.
For those who are taking 1 - 1.5 hours to shoot all their entries, perhaps they can then go find a knowledgable RO to shadow and pick up the 'trade'.
I think it will be a really popular class. I'm going to get my 44 and start practicing immediately!
So far locally gun is being sold at full msrp so hope to see price settle some before I commit
I think MSRP is $430 and one local shop quoted that before they were released, but another local shop quoted the ongoing street price of $359 - on that same day. Seems most places around the country are selling the 44 for that $359-$360 and you can literally walk down the street and find that price right now.
G44s......to go with the 30 extra magazines I have !
But you only have two hands...
Just like open shooters.
One to shoot, a second for a spare when the primary goes down, and the third in the shop for repair. Rotate often, and as needed.
Mine shot relly well- two much older shooters tried it and they were so impressed on how easy and well it shoot-let alone take apart that they are now buying one each.
