I went to my local blue label dealer today to see what he had in stock. I was convinced (before I got there) that I was getting a Gen 4 30. After comparing them side by side, there is something about a 30s that, for me, is hard to resist. I think it’s because I have carried a Glock 19 off duty in the past and the 30s reminds me a lot of it. I’m planing on doing some comparisons down the road. I’ll try to post a picture.

Awesome, congrats! First one was a 19, the a 43 for deeper cover, next 30s for sure but have to get a good deal to afford it...

Congratulations -- no carry pistol of its size delivers more reliable firepower than the G30S.

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll like it. I've enjoyed mine for a couple of years now.

If I had larger hands and was a righty I would own a 30S - the Gen4 30 I cannot even touch the magazine release its way too fat of a pistol for my hands -

I am retired now but I was a big 45 ACP fan. I really like the G21 and G30s. The G36 not so much. But the G19 is my EDC now. Thank you for sharing and stay safe my friend.

I have small hands and can hit the mag release on my 36 and 30SF without any problems. I have to use my trigger finger because unfortunately I can only get gen 3 products here.

It's the same 30S. Just hanging out with a couple of it's safe-mates.

    I, too, found that to be true. My first Glock was a 30s. O'course within a month I added a G19.4. :)

    Congrats on the new pistol!

Nice! Congrats on the new addition! I was looking closely at the G30 for my first Glock but went the the 19... It's definitely next in the queue though!

    Congrats on your new g30's.
    I absolutely love mine.
One of the best in .45acp in a smallish package.
Just the right combination of size and capacity.
With 9, 10 and 13 round magazines available.
I carry it with a 10 round magazine and one in the chamber.
    Great shooter too.
    Enjoy it in good health.
