Well I just got a new to me 3rd gen Glock 23 from a local pawn shop. Looks brand new. They hadn't even put it on the shelf yet. Some guy had it pawned and never came and picked it up. Hopefully I will get out this evening and put a few rounds thru it. It is my first 40cal and will be my edc. Will post follow up and pics.

I hope you enjoy! My first 23 was used, but quickly became my edc. The 23 is my idea of the ideal carry :)

Enjoy! Might think to get a LWD 40/9 barrel for cheaper shooting. Good choice.

    I carry a glock 23 4gen every day.I have
Put at lease 1000 rounds thru it!
I have bought just about every updated
    Part they make for it.
    I can change it to a 9mm or a 357.

Thanks!!! I am already planning on a lone wolf 9mm barrel in the future. It is a pretty easy pitch to my wife "but sweetie it is like having two guns for the price of one" lol

    Congrats on the new Glock!

I've got a 40-9 conversion barrel from LWD for my G33, and liked shooting 9X19 through it so much, that I went out and got a G26 :)

good choice and I recommend the 40-9 barrel also. I have one for my 22 and an AA .22 kit for my G23.

Congrats on your gen 3 23. I have two of the said and they run perfectly without any issues.

As noted, a LWD 40 to 9 conversion barrel is a plus for range work. The Advantage Arms .22lr conversion kit makes for plenty of inexpensive trigger time.

    Enjoy!

I put 50 flawless rounds thru it and gave it a good cleaning. I actually found the factory fired shell casing still in envelope dated 2006. I can't believe how good of condition it is. I was a little worried about moving up to a 40cal but I actually shot it more accurately than my previous G17 or G26. Can't wait to put more thru it.

Last I checked, LWD was out of stock, but Cheaper Than Dirt has them in stock and considerably cheaper. That's where I got mine. Don't forget to get 9mm mgas, too.

Add the stock G32 barrel and use your .40 s&w mags to fire .357sig. Haven't tried that yet, but hear good things.

    I'm also using a gen 3 G23. Best purchase I've ever made.
