Finally made it my my local Blue Label dealer and picked up a Gen5 19. Took it home and installed a set of the Ameriglo FBI sights (GL-5517) purchased from Brownells during their $84.95 sale. As you can see from the photos it has the beveled front nose that matches the slide. Hope to shoot it tomorrow and will give a range report once accomplished. Here are some photos:

Great sights. There is one small, small difference in these and the 19M sights on contract. These (the Agent sights) have a U-notch vs. a square notch. Past that, functionally the same. It takes some getting used to (supposedly, mine are still on order) putting the front dot "high enough" to be on at 25 yards vs. putting it at the bottom of the sight channel.

I'm looking forward to the thinner front sight blade.

BTW, your pics aren't showing.

Hmmm . . . not sure why they are not appearing (they show up on my computer). Never had a problem before with posting photos but apparently I have screwed something up. Will try again.

Congrats. I've got the Square Notch and Thin front on my G19.4 and love them. I ordered the Ameriglog Agent sites for some other Glocks, and have shot them on a buddies G19.3....but neither gun has been run out to 25 yards - max I've shot them was 15 yards, and I don't remember having to do anything different with sight alignment.

I edited my post and now the photos should show up. By the way, the GL-5517 sights do have the U-notch rear sight.
Pics show up now!

Awesome - I didn't realize these have the U notch. That's fantastic!

I don't know that I'll see a difference but I've got a G17 Gen 5 coming with the AG Bold (square notch) sights but I'm looking at going back and retrofitting my .45 Glocks with these Agent sights.

Have been comparing against the Hackathorn sights. Looks like the H's sit lower, so perhaps better for carry, but I seem to do better/prefer the slightly higher/raised sights like these Agents.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts on how they work for you at the range, etc.!

There were some initial reports of "Gen 5 Glocks shooting low" that turned out to likely be dropping the front sight dot too low in the notch. It should be aligned horizontally with the rear dots but lots of folks have low-profile sights before they move to these and there's less "vertical play" so it takes some getting used to.

Doesn’t look like the slide matches the frame. My 17 doesn’t either. No big deal but by the picture looks like the slide is beveled and not the frame?
Correct, he's referring to the curve on the front of the sight. That's an earlier Gen 5 frame without the frame beveling. As you said, no big deal - just cleaning up the "what's he referring to" language.

All the fuss about the frame not being beveled is crazy. I know some people is upset about it, but doesn’t bother me at all. The detail of it isn’t a big deal at all. Didn’t bother me when I bought and isn’t going to since there going to be beveling the frame now. It’s a Glock and is going to work whether it’s beveled or not. All the fuss about them being more accurate and going to hang up or get dust in it is none sense to me.

Same here. I really don't care one way or the other. I'm just happy to be rid of the finger grooves, and I like the new trigger mechanism.
Really nice firearm. Good feel to it to. Will be getting some talon grips soon for it. Wasn’t gonna put any on it but really like talon grips. That’s all I usually do is put sights on them and grips. Nothing else.
