I picked up a new Gen4 19 last week and finally got a chance to go to the range this morning. I put 50 rounds of winchester nato 124gr fmj and another 100 rounds of winchester 115gr fmj through it without any hiccups at all. The weapon ran great just like my gen3 19. I did some one handed drills both strong hand and weak hand no problems. Reading some of these other posts made me wonder whats going on. All I can say is this one runs great.

It's a Glock. By any other name, Perfection. Other's will continue to strive for it. Glock will continue to produce it.

Good to hear, congrats on your new pistol.

I picked up a Gen 4 G19 and haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

You know I have yet to have ANY issues with my G4 G17 and other than a 3 stove pipes within the first 50 rounds, my G4 G19 hasn't had any issues either. I was concerned about the FTE issues but after a good cleaning I have not seen the problem again.

I will say that the cases ejected VERY close to the gun. I can literally pick up all my brass with out taking a step while the G17 ejects them into the next county. I'll probably pick up another spring if Glock releases one or possibly buy one from Wolfe.

Glad you like yours as much as I like mine.

Have you, by any chance, tried the extractor from a Gen3 9mm in the Gen4 G19? It has been noted that Glock has recently changed the extractor and at least one Gen4 owner believes the extractor may be to blame for ejection problems. It would seem to be an easy test to see whether the ejection distance changes. The difficulty of removing the new extrators (at least when new), makes me wonder whether he could be onto something.

Congrats! I'm impressed with my 19 Gen4 too.

Your report is consistent with what we've come to expect from Glock platform. I'm liking my new 23 Gen4 .... 350 rounds (mixed ammo) in two days and rockin' ready out of the box.

I recently purchased a Gen4 Glock 17. The only issue I had was
the new guide rod (recoil rod) design seems to be it's weakest point.
I have had no problems up to 500 rounds however I replaced it
with a Glockmeister one piece stainless rod just to make sure that
    failure could not happen.
