I've shot 750 rounds so far no problems. Sweet pistol, shoots well, and feels great. I'm wondering how your new Gen 4 Glock 22 are performing for you.
Thanks for your replys. Stay Safe.........J.H.

I've got >700 rounds through mine and have experienced NO malfunctions. It's a great pistol.

Yep I just made a thread about my first time taking out Gen4 G22 the other day. 500 rounds each 100 rounds a different brand of ammo and just to mix it up I used 3 old mags and the 2 new ones. PERFECT!

When my OCD allows me to get over that "Gen 4" scratched into the slide I'll probably get one to keep my G22 RTF2 in good condition.

For me anyway I have shot other Gen G22s and my Gen4 G22 (forgive me I am not to technical on these guns) but is it because of the dual guide rod system they have in there now, that to me, I notice a big difference between the old and new with less recoil and less muzzle flip which allowed me to make easy follow up shots?

I thoroughly enjoyed that day at the range cause I also shot my new Beretta 92 Inox which shot flawlessly as well.

I agree I have a Beretta Centurion 9mm I would bet my life on. It too always has gone bang at the range.

This is total speculation but since it's very "un-glocklike" for them to mark "Gen 4" on the slide I think it's just going to be there for a year or two while the whole line transitions over. This could make it somewhat unique down the road. That's unique by Glock standards though, there will still probably be 10's of thousands of each model.
