Ok so has anyone any thoughts on the new Gen 4 frames? I mean like dont like? I just bought a new gen 4 today and I am wondering if the GT continuum has any thoughts as to whether or not its an improvement or not.

I think it is an improvement over the Gen 3 G23. I've had mine since they were first releases, blue label, never a problem. Bought NIB.

    Congratulations!
My G23 Gen 4 has been great.

I like the new magazine release and the less pronounced finger grooves, similar to the earlier 3rd gen. guns. The MBS, RSA, and grip texture are fine, but I didn't have any qualms before. I still prefer gen 3, overall.

Congrats on your new 23. I like the Gen4 but for me, the new grip textured finish is a bit too rough for IWB-CCW. (Under the shirt skin contact. It rubbed me raw.) Other than that I love em!!

I really like my G23 Gen4. The new texture is rough enough for a good secure grip, but not as rough as the RTF. I really like the extended mag release. I have tried all three grip sizes and the grip with no backstrap fits my hands the best.

I have not had any issues with mine. I have put in the upgraded parts (New RSA, New ejector, Dot Connector), even though I had no issues with the original parts.

I even like the newer less slick finish.

Congrats on the G23 Gen4. I just traded for one yesterday. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but so far I like the Gen4 grip/frame better than the Gen 3 grip/frame on my G19 and G38. I just need to get rid of that damn serrated trigger.

Good choice on the Gen4 G23! The G23 is my favorite as is, and I personally like the Gens4s better then the Gen3s, they're a little shorter in the grip (front to back), I really like the texture and the new recoil springs are better too.

If you ever want to use Gen3 recoil springs in your Gen4, buy and adapter ring from Glockworx, it works perfectly.

I dropped the serrated trigger for a G22 trigger on day 2 of my Gen4 23 ownership.

Personally I prefer the Gen 3 frame but I like the Gen 4 mag release.

If I had the choice between a Gen3 and Gen4, I would take the latter in an instant. You done good, congrats on your new piece!

Aside from the better grip texture of the Gen4, the RSA makes for a noticeable difference in felt recoil, equates to faster follow up shots and less fatigue when grinding it out at the range.

Congrats on the G23. Both of my Glocks are Gen4s, and I'm very happy with them.
