I finally had to buy it. Sitting there in the counter looking so lonely. It's for my wife. Her G27 was a little too much recoil for her 120lb frame. Slower target acquisition on followup shots. Any thoughts?

She'll love the G26, very soft shooting for what it is...are there any opportunities to modify her grip/technique to help out w/ recoil and follow up shots?

I've had my Glock 26 for a decade, and love it.

My wife and I are standardized on 9mm for semi-auto carry guns. Makes ammo sharing and gun sharing easier. We are also standardized on .38 for revolver carry guns.

Sure, we've got .357 and .44 in hunting calibers, but those are more specialty guns.

I'll call BS! Just kidding, of course. My wife and daughters (in their 20s) both enjoy shooting mine, too.

Yes,your wife will love and I love mine. The recoil is not bad,it is accurate and very easy to conceal. The G 26 is my summer carry and it really works for me.

They are horrible guns. I'm down to two of them.

Seriously, it's the gun my wife shoots better than anything I've put in her hand. And I've brought home no small number for "her" to try out and she still shoots that 26 better. I honestly believe it's the only gun she'd be disappointed that I sold.

I carry my other one frequently in my RH front pocket with an Aholster. Works great for me.
