Here are some more videos of my recently completed G20LS in action. The last video is me shooting a water bottle at 70 yards. I have no doubt it will make a capable hunting pistol, though I'll try to keep it under 50 yards. I now have 440 rounds through it without a single failure of any sort. It is SUCH a sweet gun. I also swapped the G21 slide back onto the frame for comparison. The G20LS has no more recoil (with 180gr JHPs at 1330fps) than the .45ACP! After putting about 300 rounds through the G20LS and G21SF, my G29 with full-power loads felt like a beast. Here are the videos:

Excellent videos. Gotta ask why the slide didn't lock back after the last round on the second video.
Probably hand positioning. If your right thumb(assuming your a right handed shooter) is pressed down on the slide release, some times it will cause the slide to remain in the forward position after the last round....Just a guess. :whistling:

That's a sweet looking shooter you have there!!

I have big gorilla hands, and my thumb likes to find the slide release lever. That's why I didn't really flinch when it happened. I'm used to it, especially with my G29. It's really annoying. So is my slow reset, quick pull habit. I've got to break both of them.

Good shooting, Carrier. I like that 70 yarder.

BTW, I think you should change your user name to 29Carrier, or something similar. ;)
Thanks. I wish I could. That's why I added the little line underneath it. I registered here about 2 months before I got my G29, and I was still carrying the G21SF. Oh well.

Looks like you nailed it--21Carrier said it in his reply.

I get it--much like riding the safety on a 1911. Thanks for sharing the vids!
