    Hey all,
Finally got my first gun. Glock 19 RTF2.

I actually loved the texture on the gun. It allowed me to very easily take a hold of it and kept my grip nice and tight.

I fired 300 FMJ target rounds through it today without a single hitch. No FTF's, FTE's etc.

(I was shooting with my friend who was firing a FNH FNP45 and he had 3 FTFs in only about 150 rounds )

Either way I absolutely love this gun. Heres some pics.

It allowed me to have a MUCH more secure grip than the standard grip texture on most glocks. I absolutely loved it and would recommend you at least give it a try. A lot of people don't seem to like it because they say its a little too irritating to the hands but I felt it was excellent IMO.

Congrats. I also have a G19RTF2. I love the grip. It even gets better after more use. It kinda Breaks itself in.

Yea the grip was definitely the deal-breaker for me. It was so much easier to hold onto than the standard Glock grip texture.

My 3 Letter Prefix was: NZK
I have no idea what the serial numbers mean, other than I assume that means that mine was built after yours

And you can never have enough G18 Zombie mags. I plan on stocking up on them for the Zombie Apocalypse when it occurs in 2012

Congrats to you! A fellow co-worker made the same "deciding factor" comments about the RTF2 texture.

Just got mine today as well! Unfortunately, I have a freaking scratch across the front slide. Had to have came from the factory because it's a perfect line across the front sight yet the sight has no scratch to be seen. Love the grip and serrations. It does help grip the pistol and slide better than the straight design. Can't wait to break her in!
