    Gentlefolk;

    With some apprehension, I went to my LGS to look at available Glock 9s to round out my arsenal. I finally settled on a Gen3 G17.

    I took the free box of PMC 9mm, wiped out the internals, and put 50 rounds through it without being bounced by any brass, excluding a few rounds that richocheted off the partition and bounced off me, but that wasn't the weapon's fault.

    Fire test date: 7 Mar 2012.

    This is not a comprehensive evaluation, simply one user's limited use report.

    Summary: You went to a local gun shop, bought a G17. It fired great when you took it to the range for the first time.

    Congrats!!

    :cool:

    Correct, and and in other non-news: no planes crashed, no countries were invaded and there were no mass murders...in short, nothing to report... <g>

    I also have no trauma to report regarding a Sig P220, a Walther PPKS or a Sig 223...in short..nothing to write home about!
