Hello everyone. I've been reading articles/threads from this forum for many years but decided it was time to actually become a member. I have been collecting military rifles but have decided it was time to possibly upgrade some of my home defense weapons (maybe a 45). My two early Glocks (1989 17L and 1994 19) have served me so well for a couple of decades now and thought it might be the right time to begin learning more about some new options from the fine line of Glocks.

In my opinion, you will be well-served with the Glocks you have. Glock has not really changed anything in decades so you are good to go.

They are decent pistols and serve their purpose well.
