hey guys I'm ordering spare parts for my gen 3 glock 19, is this new ejector out for the third generation glock 19? Or just the gen 4 models 19s?

Glock is only using it for Gen4's, but if you order a Gen4 trigger housing you have no way of knowing which ejector it has. The online retailers likely have the old version.

The old 9mm ejector was stamped 336, the new one is stamped 30274. The old .40 ejector was stamped 1882, I've only seen pictures of the new one posted by maddy345 and it didn't have any numbers stamped on it.

I'm waiting until the online retailers get the newest Gen4 trigger housings with the new ejectors, and I'm going to order the .40 version so I can take the ejector out of that trigger housing and put it into the Gen3 trigger housing for my Gen3 G27.

Interesting, this right here says it's a 9mm trigger housing ejector, but you can clearly see in the picture it's 1882

Regardless, I'd like to have the parts, so I'll order this, if it turns out to be a .40 ejector, I have plenty of .40 glocks too.

They use the same generic picture for a lot of their trigger housings. The trigger housing you linked to should have the 9mm 336 ejector.

I want the new ejector as well. When I sent my pistol to glock one of my hopes was that they would install it into my G19 gen 3, but it didn't happen. I did get a new very flush, no dimple extractor. It looks to have the old shiny finish when held next to my stock extractor. From what I hear, this extractor is going into all the glocks that get sent back to Smyrna, gen 3 and gen 4.

I guess I will buy the trigger housing when it is made available. I'm assuming that may be a while though.

What is your opinion on how long it will take for glock to start selling these to distributors?

I think Glock will install the new ejectors into the newest trigger housings being produced, I don't know if they'll install the new ejectors into the trigger housings they have on hand. First Glock has to start sending the trigger housings with the newest ejectors to the retailers, but the retailers have to sell their old stock before they'll order more with the new ejector.

It could be months for most retailers, and most retailers don't list the intricate details of the product like what number is stamped on the ejector, so the first notice will likely come from someone ordering a trigger housing and getting one that has the new ejector then posting about it on the forums.

Thanks for the link.:wavey:

No problem, I don't think that's the new ejector though. Even though the gen 3 19 I'd be getting this for only throws a couple to my face every hundred rounds, it'd still be interesting to see if this helps at all. Regardless, not really a deal breaker if it doesn't. I've had plenty more pistols do that of all sorts.
