I just installed a new DSL modem and the results were so good, I had to share here. The other model was getting more slow and sluggish to the point I thought it was the PC with a virus and couldnt figure it out. :dunno:

The old modem was atleast 5 years old so I guess they age as well. Anyways, I had to say it here since someone else might be experiencing the same thing.

    Thanks.

I've replaced 3 cable modems over the years with the same pleasant results. Its almost like Christmas when your surfing speed suddenly doubles :)

Congratulations, maybe that would help here. They claim what I'm paying for is 1-1.5 Mbps DSL. What I usually get is 400-500 kbps although I just saw 760 kpbs. When I ask them what I can do to make it faster the usual answer is, "Not much". I shouldn't gripe too much I guess, I was surprised we could get anything approaching broad band out here.
