I just picked up a 2005 Daytona 955i, with 2 miles on it. Sorry no digital camera or I would post pictures. I sold my Harley last week and have been trying to find a black SE, know one around here had one. Found it in Nashville. I drove down and picked it up and drove straight back, 17 hours on the road.

I would except that the damn Austrians (KTM) already got my name on their priority list for the 990 Adventure.

For some really hot Triumph porn get the Isle of Man TT recap DVDs. Particularly the year 2004, maybe 2003 with the retun of Triumph. Sweet shots of them blazing around the Island.

I like Triumphs a lot, just wish there was a dealer closer to me...and my bank account was bigger!

I like the silver bikes, but I couldn't pass up the all black one.

My closest dealer is over 2 hours away. It's nice because nobody else in the area has one.

No dealers near me either- but is any decent MC shop able to do the maintainance on a triumph- or are there a lot of quirky things to them?

I have 3 Daytonas in the garage right now. I do most of the work on them. I have not had anything major happen with the older 2. The one I am selling is a '98 T595 with 21,000 miles on it, I had a problem with a relay in 2001 that kept draining the batttery, put a new relay in and took care of the problem. My wifes '02 955i has ran great, she just wishes it had the power of the '98. I don't go to the dealer but maybe once a year if I'm in the area.
