GT's Archangel is building a new knife for me. I can barely sit still. More to follow. That is all :wavey:

I left most of the details up to the maker. I can tell you that the handle wrap colors are reddish and blackish with materials left up to the maker and the blade OAL is ~9" and the cutting edge is to be ~4". I chose a left handed sheath and a general blade style.

I prefer to let the knife maker use their discretion in what they believe works best. I've seen enough of his work to to let him figure out what works best within his style. I've rarely been disappointed.

A general blade style huh? I wonder how its going to look because all the knife examples I have seen from Archangel have been Asian influenced. :supergrin:

You are correct.

This is one he has completed, not mine.

I'm not sure if he plans to change much as far as the overall appearance. He hasn't asked for any input in that department. I do know that it will have a reddish colored alligator hide under the wrap.

hey, i know that knife. :supergrin: i hope syntaxerrorsix doesn't mind me showing off his new knife. it is done and the sheath should be dry by tomorrow. i made his just a shade bigger. it is around 10" long and feels good in hand. i really like the blood red underlay with the black wrap.

here is an album of what i am doing right now. i do a lot of stylized japanese blades, but there is plenty of other sharp and pointy things in the mix as well.
