My son, Jake, has been promoted to Corporal. His little life is about to make a very positive cha6'nge now that he is an NCO (the kid is 6'6" tall and weighs 230 pounds, so "little life" is a bit of a joke) LOL

    Congrats Jake!!

Congratulations to you, sir, and to Cpl Jake. Please thank him for his service from all of us. Which branch of the service is he in?

Cpl is one of the toughest ranks to hold in the USMC. You are no longer "one of the guys" you have your blood stipes, your an NCO. Congrats to your son.

Semper Fi Corporal. Getting your Chevrons and Blood Stripe " pinned " leaves you pretty sore and black n blue when you sober up the next day. I know, I sure was.

A Corporal of Marines is probably one of the toughest jobs is the Corps. Do it right and a reenlistment opportunity is likely to be offered. Mess it up and everyone will be breathing down his neck for the rest of his tour.

The perfect gift for his NCO promotion is a gift of the 'BFK'. A NCO sword is something he will treasure forever. I still have mine.
