Got a new laptop, refurb Toshiba.

When I go to my email web site or my credit card website, I get a message saying that the sites security cetificates are not valid or expired. Sites suggest exiting the webpage or proceed with risk.

Just got the computer this evening.

    Suggestions.

Install all the Windows updates. Included will be the root security certificates update.

also, double check the date, time and year on your pc.

if those are off, they could be outside the valid time of whatever certificate you're trying to auth and making the cert appear to be invalid because it's out of date (ahead or behhind).
