Hello glock talk! Starters sorry if I'm posting in the wrong thread, I couldn't find a welcome thread or anything . My names Kevin and I live in florida. I been in the coastguard 2 years now and have been around weapons the whole time. Mainly the sig 229 which is a great gun. I'm qualified to carry and shoot just about anything the coast guard uses from the sig to the 25mm cannon haha. So my weapons safety and knowledge are pretty superb for someone my age as most people would say. But anyway enough about me, I have been 21 for around a month now  and have been through 3 different guns . Unfortunately I can't afford to keep them all so I'll start with the first one. Bought it from a friend used, amazing deal, great gun, but I wanted something for conceal ability,

Sigpro 2022 .40s&w

So I sold that for about $40 more then what I paid for it and bought these to beauties!
Both brand new, g26 gen 3 and a g27 gen 4

Couldnt be happier with these guns and after a few range trips I'm obbsessed! My step dad actually shot the 26 and he begged me for it so i sold it to him. So now I'm looking at getting a g19 ;)

Don't usually save my range targets but here's one I thought was decent to keep from 10yrds, shooting cheapo Tula ammo( which the glock devoured ) not bad I think

Well that's it for me. Glad to be on this forum and hope to get any advice/feedback from you guys!! Have a great day!!

Be careful with that ammo there I have seen a glock blown apart by it. Just a heads up.
Thanks for the concern. So far I've gone through about 200 rounds of it and not a hitch of a problem. Ftf fte nothing :). My step dads been shooting for a few years to and no problems. I'll keep it updated though. Im actually going to the range today so well see how she does :). I Also clean my gun after each use meticulously :). My old gunners mate instilled that on me.

Welcome Kevin.

I RO at my range for various LE departments and the AirSta Clearwater Coasties and am a CG Auxiliarist myself (and former Navy). I've got to say, the Coast Guard is the most squared away, safest, most prepared LE group ever. I was with them at the range last night.

You may want to consider some basic competition shooting with those Glocks. The closest outdoor Glock/GSSF match to you is in Clearwater, 7-8 JAN, but there may be some indoor matches closer. Check out http://www.gssfonline.com/ and go over to the GSSF thread on GT if you're interested. There is a 'Guardian' Division in GSSF for LEO/Mil, etc.

Speaking of that, I assume you are getting any new Glock (Blue Label) purchases for the LEO/Mil price. For the G26, G27 that would be $398.20.

See you on the boards. And yes, I wouldn't be so forthcoming with personal info on a public board.
