I'm looking to get a new GLOCK for carry but I'll also end up using it in IDPA when I am comfortable enough to compete. I was already looking at getting a G26 but with the newer frames coming out was thinking about getting a 17RTF2 or a GEN4 17 <s>(when they come out)</s>. I currently have a 17L that I love and carry a Kimber Ultra CDP II but would like a GLOCK in 9mm to carry also.

I welcome any opinions anyone might have (except to tell me to get a P11 since I just sold that to help fund the new GLOCK:cool:)

I like your first thought. G26 was designed specifically for concealed carry and you are already familiar with 9 mm Glocks. Remember how often you changed the answer on a test in school, and your first answer was right?

Hummm... I'd look at a Gen 4 19 myself. But the 17 would be cool. :whistling:

May I suggest the Sig 226 in 9mm or the HK P30. They are both fine pistols and would serve you well. The Glocks are no slouch either!

Too many things about you we don't know to make an educated suggestion. Glock 19/26 are both good ideas as are the .40 cal/.45 cal/and 10mm choices
